A ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation took place during the EU Hydrogen Valley Days 2024 held in Brussels on June 17-18, 2024. Valerie Bouillon-Delporte, Executive Director of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, and Marijan Krpan, the President of the Management Board of the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency (CHA), signed the agreement.
Following an analysis of hydrogen-related research and innovation policies, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership initiated a call for technical support to regional and national governing bodies. CHA successfully applied and was selected to foster synergies in this critical sector, leading to the development of a comprehensive, tailored Memorandum of Cooperation.
This step represents a significant contribution to furthering clean hydrogen development in Europe and strengthening collaboration among relevant authorities across different countries. CHA, alongside other selected bodies, now has the opportunity to benefit from technical support aimed at knowledge transfer, capacity building, and financing in the hydrogen sector.
