As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, under measure C1.2. R1-I2 “Promoting energy efficiency, district heating, and renewable energy sources for the decarbonisation of the energy sector”, work is currently underway on the construction of the fourth and final well site for the drilling rig.
The well site preparation work, which began in mid-September, is progressing on schedule. Completion of works at this technically demanding site — designated for the future geothermal exploration well Zaprešić GT-1 — is expected by mid-November 2025, after which drilling operations will commence.
